Baptism by immersion symbolizes the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus and is your public declaration that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your personal Savior. Baptism does not save you, but shows the world that you have already been saved. And while baptism is not required for salvation, it is a biblical command and demonstrates your love and obedience to Christ.

Once someone professes faith in Jesus Christ for salvation, the Bible says they should proclaim the life change that has occurred—the watching world needs to know:
- Believers are those who have realized that their sins have separated them from God.
- They have given up all efforts to reach God through their own good works or religious activity.
- They have concluded that Jesus Christ’s death on the cross for their sins is the only thing that can bridge the gap between them and God.
- A believer is someone who has decided to trust Christ alone for his or her salvation.
Baptisms occur on Sunday mornings during worship at either the 9 or 10:30 AM service. The 10:30 service is live-streamed so that is the more popular time. Family members and friends are welcome to come to your baptism.
