Jesus instructs time and again to make disciples.
Hickory Ridge Community Church exists to do just that.
We are a church that unchurched people love to attend.
Come as you are... we mean it.
Cleaning up your behavior is not a pre-condition for salvation, at least not in Christianity. What God has done for us in Jesus saves us; not what we have done in the world. You are not defined by your past nor your present.
Hickory Ridge is a place for imperfect people.
We encourage everyone to be engaged in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
Therefore encourage one another and build one another up, just as you are doing.
For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them.
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men.
Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
